1  Remote Viewing! / Remote Viewing: Hands-On, Theory, and Experiential / Dung Beetle v3.0 on: June 02, 2013, 01:59:37 PM
Public Release V3.0 Change Log 2013.05.29
===========================

• NEW! Recommended Action Bar
This new feature simplifies the best course of action based on all the data that you input for Dung Beetle to process. This includes a recommended wagering amount that is based on your projected hit rate and your current balance!

• NEW! Automated Data Type Categorization
This new feature will automatically categorize the data that you input. It is still pretty clunky at the moment. You will most likely have to manually categorize your perceptions. Additionally, graphs will be automatically generated that will visually display your performance on each data type category.

• NEW! Layout for entering Sketches and Perceptions
The algorithms for calculating scores have been revamped and slightly modified. To simply and speed up the process of manually entering data I have pre-defined the sketching area, so that users need only enter their grading judgements.

• NEW! Dung Beetle AI Data Tab
This new tab has been developed to allow easy extraction of data that will be used for Dung Beetle's future Artificial Intelligence Algorithm. As more users use Dung Beetle the data produced will need to be collected. In the future, a site will be created where users can upload their data. This data will then help to improve Dung Beetle's Algorithms for projecting hit rates.

• NEW! APP Data Extraction Tab
I created this tab to support the Applied Precognition Project. This tab is specifically designed so that Group Managers can simply "Copy and Paste" their results to the APP Database.

• Major Upgrades
This release is a significant leap for Dung Beetle. I added a ridiculous amount of equations, all working in play in the background. There is bound to be some errors and hiccups. Please report them to me if you find any and as always I am open to suggestions for improvements and more importantly criticisms for any flaws you encounter.

Cheers,

(b^_^)b - Alexis Poquiz

2  Remote Viewing! / Remote Viewing: Hands-On, Theory, and Experiential / Re: Perdicting Future Events on: May 30, 2013, 05:08:58 PM
APP recently concluded a short exercise collaborating with Alex DiChiara's group, using ARV to predict the outcome of sports events. The protocol consisted of a professional handicapper predicting the moneyline winner (i.e., without point spread) of up to 5 NBA or NHL games in one day, 3-5 times per week. The Remote Viewers were tasked to determine the single optimum game to wager on. Viewers were front loaded with the knowledge "the target is a sports stadium". Targets consisted of up to 5 sets of photos of the stadiums where the games in question were played.

Given this protocol, one cannot define an "ARV hit rate" as is done for past binary choice events. Whether the ARV prediction is a hit or a miss depends not only on the ARVing but also on the handicapper's prediction. The ARV results are not independent of the professional handicapper's effectiveness. In fact, the ARV depend strongly on the professional handicapper. If the handicapper had 5 Hits, or alternatively had 5 Misses, on a given day, then in either case the ARVing has no effect on whether the trial is successful or not.

The three-week exercise did not generate enough statistics to determine the relative efficacy of this protocol. DiChiara's group had 5 Hits, 2 Misses, and 3 Passes, while the APP group had 6 Hits, 3 Misses, and 1 Pass - both groups had close to a 70% "ARV-logical" hit rate, where "logical" refers to the effect of the handicapper's predictions. The handicapper's record during this exercise was 32 Hits, 15 Misses (68%). The differences in these 3 hit rates are not statistically significant. Due to the limited amount of trials, no definite conclusions can be drawn from the exercise. We would certainly like to reconvene our collaboration with Alex in order to obtain enough trails to generate better statistics.

APP is interested in repeating this exercise with other Handicappers. We are currently looking for Handicappers who have documented hit rates. If you are a Handicapper, or you know of a Handicapper that is interested in collaborating with APP. Please contact us or have them contact us at info@appliedprecog.com.

Cheers Smiley

Nobody intentionally supports scammers.

Innocent until proven guilty.

Links origininating from Joni, aka Dane Spott's ex-wife... is not all that convincing...lol...OBVIOUSLY, they are not going to say anything nice about each other...

Anyone have a non-biased source?

• NEW! Data Extraction Tab
This tab simplifies the extraction of all the information on the Summary Page for data collection purposes. This will empower anyone to start their own comprehensive database! It is simply a matter of copy and paste! Data Extraction simplified! Absolute Magic! (^_^)v

• NEW! Summary Headings
The new headings have been implemented for data collection purposes. You will have to manually enter these values.

• Re-introduction of Uncertainty %
This variable has always been in the system, it has just been working in the background and previous versions had been under different names. I decided to bring this variable back up front because it is a potential variable for discovering new patterns and relationships.

• Uncertainty Internalized into the CR Ranges
"Uncertainty" was a value that defined how much was added or subtracted to the Base CR scores in order to obtain the minimum and maximum score range. This value is now internalized into the CR Ranges because displaying the uncertainty % and uncertainty value, is essentially redundant. Due to the multiplicative relationship between the uncertainty percentage and uncertainty value, no new information is learned and therefore there is no point in showing the value.

• Uncertainty % Captions and Equations Updated

For those wanting to influence the direction of development for the Beetle. Please consider taking a couple minutes of your time to answer a few survey questions. I am donating $1.00 for every response I get to www.findme2.com in chunks of $25.00. Please do not be a retard, do not take the test multiple times. I would be so screwed. Hahaha.

Well, bearing in mind his chequered history in RV this could be debatable to be fair.

Enlighten me. If this guy is a scammer. Call him out. I am unaware of his "dark-side" history in regards to RV.

I do know that he is the owner of Psi-Tech... which traded hands between Ed Dames, Joni Dourif, Dane Spotts... but just because Psi-Tech had a rough past... this does not reflect on Dane Spotts being a "scammer"... from a business point of view, it made logical sense to acquire Psi-Tech.

I will also vouche that Psi-Tech has a legitimate RV online training program... whether or not the cost is proportional to it's effectiveness is another matter... but in terms of being legitimate. There is nothing in the form of it being a "scam". It really is an online RV training program and it really does work.

Let's hear about his chequered history... The last thing I want to do is support scammers...

That is not quite correct Katzenhai2...

From what I recall, the $10,000 number you are referring to was NOT A FEE... It was a requirement... the requirement is pretty common, because you need at least $10,000 to even start up a Forex Trading account with a broker. You can start a "mini-account" which will only require a $1000 bank account... but that has limitations. His Forex Trading company, was an automated Forex Trading machine based on mathematical algorithyms and known technical indicators.

He was charging a monthly subscription fee. I do not recall the fee amount. But it was indeed a healthy chunk, but it was nothing to "beware" of... It was a "fair" price for what he thought was a "fair" product. It's not like he is out there to scam people.
