Has anyone measured any increase in data results by combining efforts of two people at the same time while they both sat facing each other and focused on the same target? Maybe even holding hands if that helps.

I am not sure, just wondering out load.

I guess this would fall under the catagory of some of the group functions at TMI...?

I have no idea...it may not even be possible to have a different person enhance the results of someone else in anyway....?

I've played around a bit with that kind of thing, but haven't noticed any obvious resulting improvement.  Of course, it was hardly a scientific effort, LOL!

Isn't this the kind of situation where you'd expect to get telepathic overlay?  It might not enhance results at all.

Hmmm...  I think it might be self-defeating.  Sort of like two sets of Lan cables put to closely together with no shielding.  There might be a fair amount of "cross-talk" or signal mixing going on.  It could make a mess of things, but who knows....  Huh

This has some research behind it--at least, a few versions of it.

I call the concept 'tandem psi' just as a term.  That's not anything official.

In RV, by default in a formal environ, that is already the situation.  Who's the second person?--the monitor!

Of course, the monitor cannot be working in tandem psi if the monitor knows the target (in which case it isn't psi, and any potential psi, being very subtle, is masked under the obvious), so obviously, that element must be done within protocol, with the monitor properly blind.

I can't tell you how often viewers or monitors say it was the precisely right question, right wording, right moment, that seemed to be the critical point in a viewer's session for the data most-needed.  There is more psi than merely about the target, but also about the viewer, about the whole combined situation, that comes into play.  The monitor's role is not solely to record or prompt; a simple list of questions or a tape recorder could do that, after all.

I might add that in psi research in general, they've looked into 'tandem psi' in various situations, to see if some people combine better than others.  Last time I read up on this, they had found that people with an existing positive relationship, such as immediate family members and spouses, did better (than strangers).

A very experienced occultist friend of mine, when I shared the details I was reading about this with him probably 10 years ago, said, "Yes--it's that way in magick, too--by far the most intense result would be with two people who are fiercely attracted to one another but haven't consummated that union."  I found that an interesting idea.

They have also done research with many different settings, in terms of viewers  in proximity to each other etc.  A long time ago I went through this stuff with some researchers when such questions came up for me, but it's been many years and my mind has obviously deemed it of lesser import as I can't recall it all now.  Sorry.  But it has been researched.  I don't know how much has been published on it though.

Yea....very interesting idea indeed.

I have a few of Crowley's, and other's, books on this and other related topics.

Crowley's most successful and as you mentioned, "intense" results were from the combining of efforts, desires and other suchlike ellements of two people. The timing of such ventures played a part also.

Tandem does have its appeal to me....my energies work well with others.

* TEN THOUSAND ROADS REMOTE VIEWING AND DOWSING PROJECT

Since its opening in 2003, the TKR Project has created and sponsored online opportunities for Remote Viewers and Dowsers. We provide free information, and community for all viewers (of all psychic methods, backgrounds, experience, and perspectives on psi), and an array of software utilities and projects offering real-time viewing within an appropriate RV protocol.

The Ten Thousand Roads (aka TKR) project is independently managed and webmastered by a diverse collection of viewers from around the "online RV field". This project owes thanks to the archives of the Firedocs Remote Viewing Collection for its primary visitor source and to the project Dojo Psi for building out its first RV software custom for TKR.

This project is founded, programmed, designed and $-sponsored by Palyne as a community service. All website names, content, graphics, and slogans are Copyright © (various dates until present) to P.J. Gaenir. Viewers and taskers always own their own content of course. Registered members are welcome to excerpt text or screenshots to communicate about the project, and we always appreciate links back to us! Try this link: http://www.dojopsi.info/forum/ for the forum, or http://www.dojopsi.com/tkr/ for the hands-on viewing area.
