Hi

i live in england and became fascinated by rv after watching a documentry about it, i have since read a number of books, "tracks in the pshycic wilderness",  Remote Viewing (Tim Riffat), i have tried to implement techniques from this and other books, papers on my own as there seems to be little beyond expensive online tuition and american (again expensive) camps. i guess my question is this, can i learn rv from books? and how do i know if i am getting anywhere?. When i clear my mind and focus on a site i am not sure if it is real "sensations" i am recieving or my imagination kicking in.
Any and all advice is welcome
thnx

For free rv methods, check under 'free methods' to the left of this board.  Then start practicing.  It can be more fun to get an email partner or group to practice with.

No you don't have to take a class to get started.  The ability is inborn and you can get at it by yourself via practice.  Classes can and often do help motivate you, give you pointers, and let you understand the process a bit better.  But some of that can also be obtained by just doing it and asking lots of questions of other rvers.

My opinion is that you should consider your finances and personal options.  If you spend money on vacations anyway, then an rv class could make a great and informational vacation and perhaps speed your progress.  But if it's a big financial hardship, then you may be better off investing time and effort into practicing it instead.  Over time, you will see how motivated you really are and if your interest will keep up over time and be worth further investment.  IMO, classes are useful and fun, but not essential.  Keep at it, and people who already took training might eventually tell you most of the stuff anyway!  ;-)

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain.

* TEN THOUSAND ROADS REMOTE VIEWING AND DOWSING PROJECT

Since its opening in 2003, the TKR Project has created and sponsored online opportunities for Remote Viewers and Dowsers. We provide free information, and community for all viewers (of all psychic methods, backgrounds, experience, and perspectives on psi), and an array of software utilities and projects offering real-time viewing within an appropriate RV protocol.

The Ten Thousand Roads (aka TKR) project is independently managed and webmastered by a diverse collection of viewers from around the "online RV field". This project owes thanks to the archives of the Firedocs Remote Viewing Collection for its primary visitor source and to the project Dojo Psi for building out its first RV software custom for TKR.

This project is founded, programmed, designed and $-sponsored by Palyne as a community service. All website names, content, graphics, and slogans are Copyright © (various dates until present) to P.J. Gaenir. Viewers and taskers always own their own content of course. Registered members are welcome to excerpt text or screenshots to communicate about the project, and we always appreciate links back to us! Try this link: http://www.dojopsi.info/forum/ for the forum, or http://www.dojopsi.com/tkr/ for the hands-on viewing area.
