Dowsing Challenges
PJ:
What do you guys think of the idea of staff setting up three dowsing targets a week, similar to missions, where there is a specific target and location, and the viewer is provided with a map and/or outline of the larger territory, and it's up to them to provide some information on where they think the target is located?
Joe S:
The reaction does not seem very......
hmmmm
sounds interesting to me tho...
PJ:
Yeah. I think we've demonstrated that not enough locals are interested LOL.
Jon K:
On the bright side of things, a friend who is part of the dowsing community and I are looking into the possibility of getting some dowsers and Rvers to combine forces in an experiment or possibly a practical app. If that gets under way, maybe the dowsers would welcome having that available.
Cheers,
Jon

recently just finished reading through some of koester's data (he sieved through 50,000 missing person's cases & compiled statistics on them) and found some interesting things about location
from 50,000 missing person cases he found the ones where dowsing data had been supplied unspecified number of (it doesnt state how many) then compared them to the actual location dowsing was correct in only 3% of cases where it had been supplied
general psychic data when supplied (it doesn't state which type eg. RV, clairvoyance, etc) was correct in finding the location in 15% of cases where it was supplied
i'm not knocking dowsing (i've spent many hours over the years finding blocked field drains with it where it sort of worked & was close enough) but a hit rate like that makes you wonder wherther it's worth the effort using it for map dowsing
