I've been doing practice sessions in the dojo by loading up random tasks and taking 15 mins to write down what I'm sensing.  Sometimes I'm way off, other times I'm pretty much on target, but on occasion i seem to get the targets crossed.

For example, for a target i had down "long, white, submarine" and was way off, and the very next target was a drawing type image of a submarine with a big white area surrounding the sub representing waves/splashing.

Is it common to have targets crossed like this, would this just be because I'm doing 5 or 6 quick practice sessions in a row ? Any suggestions if there is a way to correct, I'm guessing I have to start doing longer more spread out practices ?

thanks for any input !

It's not uncommon for things like that to happen, especially when you are starting out.

I don't think you need to change what you are doing except regarding the feedback you give your subconscious. In other words, when you are comparing your session to the feedback, look at the crossed sessions as a form of inaccuracy that you want to go beyond.

When some people get interested in the phenomenon, they are feeding it with their interest. That will probably encourage it to keep happening. If you have thoughts like "I can become more accurate than this", you will.

On the other hand, sometimes small changes in your routine can be a catalyst towards improvements.

I have a suggestion that works for me. Don't have a set number of tasks in mind that you are going to work on, because that gives the subconscious permission to roam.

I'm pretty sure the submarine is the more interesting target if you know what I mean. OK, what you experienced was pulling from a future target. The opposite is true, if your last planned target was that stupid cherry soup target, your subconscious is probably going to revert to an attribute of a previous target.

Get around this by deciding that you are going to work 5 but no more than 8 targets today. Then always stop on a high note, meaning that if you get as much accurate information on a target you can reasonably get at your level, stop. Stop right then and pick up another day, always stop while you're winning.

You'll soon find that you are working fewer and fewer targets consistently to get to the next level. A few years ago when I was working this process, I did it just the way I explained. There were days I named the first target using only one line and stopped for a couple of days. Your mileage may vary but this worked for me.

Yes, it could be because you are doing them too quickly, though everyone is different.  Try leaving about 30 minutes between each target and see if that makes any difference.

Is it common to have targets crossed like this...

I don't know if it is common, but it has happened to many viewers before.  I experienced this during my very first RV session.  In my case, however, it was due to a poor design choice for my first "experimental" series.  I was doing sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays, then meeting my tasker on Fridays for feedback.  So, I was getting feedback for two sessions at a time.  In hindsight, this was a recipe for "confusion," and on several instances I got parts of both Tuesday's and Thursday's targets at the same time.

One of my favorite RV books is Mental Radio by Upton Sinclair.  This book was published in 1930.  It describes a series of experiments Sinclair performed over several years with his psychic wife, Mary Craig Sinclair.  The book contains examples from over 100 of their sessions.  There are several instances of "time displacement" described in this book.  So it happens.

Several of the other posters have given good suggestions to try to prevent this.  Try slowing down and doing fewer sessions, and try to make each feedback session a meaningful learning experience.

I wouldn't worry about it too much unless it is happening so frequently as to becoming disruptive.  I actually find the phenomenon rather fascinating for what it tells us about the true nature of time.

yes !

It has happened to me lots !
and other viewers as well..
being off one target ..pre cog...

One way to set the clock right if it continues...
do the session on notepad..
then clik the tkr 'give me a task' then
copy and paste your pre done session
before hand..
then hit the feedback...

* TEN THOUSAND ROADS REMOTE VIEWING AND DOWSING PROJECT

Since its opening in 2003, the TKR Project has created and sponsored online opportunities for Remote Viewers and Dowsers. We provide free information, and community for all viewers (of all psychic methods, backgrounds, experience, and perspectives on psi), and an array of software utilities and projects offering real-time viewing within an appropriate RV protocol.

The Ten Thousand Roads (aka TKR) project is independently managed and webmastered by a diverse collection of viewers from around the "online RV field". This project owes thanks to the archives of the Firedocs Remote Viewing Collection for its primary visitor source and to the project Dojo Psi for building out its first RV software custom for TKR.

This project is founded, programmed, designed and $-sponsored by Palyne as a community service. All website names, content, graphics, and slogans are Copyright © (various dates until present) to P.J. Gaenir. Viewers and taskers always own their own content of course. Registered members are welcome to excerpt text or screenshots to communicate about the project, and we always appreciate links back to us! Try this link: http://www.dojopsi.info/forum/ for the forum, or http://www.dojopsi.com/tkr/ for the hands-on viewing area.
