I had a couple of archetype meditations on this topic, years ago.

Oh. Open search/consulting with archetypes session sort of thing.

It is odd material indeed to read through. Fascinating but totally different to regular RV session work. Exactly what it is similar too... hmmm... kind of like the card game "Happy Families" I suppose. Each game is different, although the goal of each game is the same. I would guess the goal of each session is information transfer.

That's as much as I can sensibly offer, but I thought you might be relieved other people look at this sort of thing and TRY to come up with some feedback because... it is fairly unclear area, to my perception anyway!

Interacting with archetypes is actually fairly standardized as a method but usually it's buried in the occult world, not the commercial world. I fell into it differently -- it is heavily tied into QBL (cabala) studies but I don't really study that, I merely experience it and then discover how textbook my experiences are after the fact.

This is also called conscious dreaming, active imagination, shamanic journeying, and archetype meditations, as well as a few other labels -- each varies slightly.

Like most things the real point of variance is the individual not the approach.

You can find several how-to books with various approaches on amazon, search those terms. The Inner Guide Meditation, by Edwin Steinbrecher, foreword by Israel Regardie, is the one I began with 20 years or so ago. Although I had no respect for astrology and tarot at the time -- that has changed greatly -- so I actually mostly ignored his primary archetypes, as I was working with a private teacher (doing archetypes and hands-on energy work) with a slightly different model than he used.

My current work is really not about that. IG (my 4th one) is different, and my... capacity is different than it was then. We work together creatively however she likes which is often so completely unconnected to typical archetype work I don't even have a label for it. She drives. There are cycles of stuff. Most tied heavily to a groupsoul and aeons structure that is also a common thing in some occult studies but not too mainstream, but you'll find people (e.g. Ram Dass or others) talking about the multiple identities bit, transpersonal psychology has more recognition of that than most mainstream fields.

What I was doing during the time of those meditations is not much like what I'm doing now.

None of it is directly related to Remote Viewing. RV is by nature based on factual information about separate things from you, ideally eventually with feedback, while  the inner world work is by nature based mostly on the model that all of reality (and in fact the cosmos) IS you, and either nothing has feedback or it's definitely not 'objective' in any way.

It does tie heavily into intuition and even psi, but RV isn't just psi it's a controlled psi process within a science protocol, so they aren't really anything alike.

Best regards,
PJ

* TEN THOUSAND ROADS REMOTE VIEWING AND DOWSING PROJECT

Since its opening in 2003, the TKR Project has created and sponsored online opportunities for Remote Viewers and Dowsers. We provide free information, and community for all viewers (of all psychic methods, backgrounds, experience, and perspectives on psi), and an array of software utilities and projects offering real-time viewing within an appropriate RV protocol.

The Ten Thousand Roads (aka TKR) project is independently managed and webmastered by a diverse collection of viewers from around the "online RV field". This project owes thanks to the archives of the Firedocs Remote Viewing Collection for its primary visitor source and to the project Dojo Psi for building out its first RV software custom for TKR.

This project is founded, programmed, designed and $-sponsored by Palyne as a community service. All website names, content, graphics, and slogans are Copyright © (various dates until present) to P.J. Gaenir. Viewers and taskers always own their own content of course. Registered members are welcome to excerpt text or screenshots to communicate about the project, and we always appreciate links back to us! Try this link: http://www.dojopsi.info/forum/ for the forum, or http://www.dojopsi.com/tkr/ for the hands-on viewing area.
