I've read about RV here and there for a few years now. I was particularly interested in the US goverment experiments. Honestly I was pretty skeptical of the whole thing but there have been a number of experiences in my life that I would have to explain certain events in one of two ways...

1. I had experienced some sort of psychic "episode" without having made any attempt to do so.

or

2. I was present for a massive coincidence - one in millions kind of odds.

The fact that these occurances happened at significant times, not just here and there randomly, has kept my mind open to the idea of psychic abilities. I still wouldn't say I necessarily believed in psychic powers but I didn't discount it either.

A few days ago I came across this site, and just for fun I tried a couple of sessions. I didn't understand how the procedure worked on the site (and to be honest I found it to be a pretty confusing setup for newcomers - no offense intended, that was just my experience) anyway, I had some pretty amazing results on my first few tries. I probably did about a dozen sessions and I had at least two that were pretty well dead on. The others, even though not right, had some aspects of what I saw. The images just kind of flicker through my mind without any real definition so I could see what I thought was a part of a shiny billiard ball but actually it was a skydiving helmet, things like that.

I did these first attempts on paper by myself before I figured out how to do sessions so that I could put them in the gallery. Since than I may have done about 25 sessions and I've had 4-5 that I would consider 90% + and a couple of those, the odds of guessing certain things about the image would be pretty slim, hundreds to one. The other 20 or so attempts there have been some definite hits in the picture but my mind took it in a different direction. There have only been a few that were flat out wrong. (I've made a number of my better sessions public if you're interested).

So, my point is that I am becoming convinced. I've also seen some sessions from other people here that were just scary-good. I think I'd like to develop some sort of real method and pick times with no distractions and really take my time with some sessions and see what I can come up with. I feel as though I may have stumbled into something huge here and I want to see how far I can go with it.

Anyway that's just a little of my story. I just wanted to introduce myself and tell all of you that this is a great site. There are a lot of useful tools and things here and though I said it's a little tricky for newcomers I'm starting to get the hang of it and I'm glad I found it

thanks

Hi Sgiven, and welcome to TKR.

So good to hear of your recent experiences here at the DojoPsi and elsewhere. I think I speak for everyone here (and all remote viewers worldwide) when I say that those first days when one realises that Remote Viewing is not only possible but relatively easy to achieve on the first few attempts are gold. I still remember my first WOW moment about five years ago when I nailed my first target...enjoy the feeling of having your world rocked!

Alot of people do. The 'beginner' effect is well-documented. Many believe that you have in effect caught your conscious mind off guard by the simple act of attempting to remote view (thus downloading straight from your subconscious instead) and as such it's guards are down...you've caught it un-awares and done something that you weren't supposed to be able to do, something that lies outside the paradigm created by your ego over all these years to help you navigate reality.

Great stuff!

Yup, that will happen. Most methodologies refer to that as AOL or 'analytic overlay', where the conscious mind tries to wrestle back control over the subconscious download of data and starts 'guessing' or trying to 'work out' what the target is by matching the snippets of data that come in with possible objects, people, things etc.

This is the NUMBER ONE problem faced by all remote viewers. Master AOL and the knack of holding an empty mind without guessing at the target and you will soon become one hell of a viewer. It's hard though...bloody hard. Happy practice.  Smiley

.

It IS pretty huge, isn't it? Kinda turns mainstream science and everything that 95% of the population believe possible on its head, doesn't it? Spend a bit of time considering that remote viewing is not bound by time and space, that you could just as well sit down and describe what happened at a given point in time 10, 100 or 1000 years ago (depending on the target set you)...that it is perfectly possible to send a viewer to the far reaches of space to gather information...or even occasionally the future...and you'll see just how huge this thing is. All in good time.  Wink

That's very kind of you. It's great to have you here! Can't tell you how wonderful it is to witness someone discovering the joy of remote viewing.

Please let us know how you are progressing and don't hesitate to ask questions on anything you see fit. Happy viewing!

Marv

PS What's your name over at the Dojo?...would love to see some of your sessions in the Galleries.

Marv - Thanks for the response. It really is a friendly place around here from what I've seen.

A lot of what you said about the beginner effect and AOL really makes sense. I can feel my mind trying to interperet the flashes of information and it seems to be worse now than when I first started. It doesn't seem to be right most of the time, but its harder I find when I'm writing the data out because most of the information I get is just a visual glimpse and when I try to describe it, I end up guessing at something that usually brings me off target. I think I just need to work  out some kind of a system.

If you want to see, the name I use in the galleries is the same as the name here - sgiven I think I have about 5 sessions made public right now (the ones I consider to be my best). They were all posted over the last few days. Please feel free to take a look and let me know what you think.

Thanks

SG

It seems like a really friendly place here

Check it out. Way back in the 1970s Ingo Swann, Hal Puthoff and a bunch of others sat down and painstakingly put together a method that would enable accurate signal access with minimised AOL; a method that anyone could sit down and learn.

The general idea is that the method be internalised to such a degree that using it becomes automatic, almost robotic, thus cutting down on the amount of input that the conscious mind has in the procedure.

Originally the pioneers in remote viewing used map co-ordinates when praticing but soon discovered that these weren't necessary; any set of digits would function as a suitable tool for directing the viewer to the target. So Co-ordinate Remote Viewing (CRV) became Controlled Remote Viewing (still CRV).

The vast majority of RV trainers out there teach versions of this original method (TRV, SRV, HRVG) but essentially this method is the root of it all. Better still, it is available at the website I have given you above, for FREE. Go take a look and see how it grabs you.

Hi Sgiven! Welcome!

To anyone new to RV, I'd suggest checking out a book called "Mind Trek" by Joseph McMoneagle (remote viewer #001 in the govt Stargate program.) It's full of great stuff and sober information on RV.

Glad you're enjoying the site and exploring remote viewing! Have fun!

I really enjoyed this discussion, for what that is worth.  I remember when I first got here.  I wrote vroom, vroom, racing, speed, stuff like that.  It was a race car.   There were other sessions in the same way, short and accurate, but no detail.  I remember a viewer called 7 saying that I sounded like him years ago.  Now I understand that much better.  Over analyzing and working through it, in the later months, I guess, is just part of the process.  It happened to me though I still find that remote viewing happens, it just gets more complicated and more detailed.  Thanks for the info Marv!  As always.

im new here and it feels kinda comforting to come across a place that makes me feel comfortable about my personal experiences that would be viewed weird by the masses...i have been i guess you can say viewing for your years but i also have been doing other things as well ever since i was a child... i watched movies that made me feel like something was wrong with me because the things that some of these characters were capable of doing i have done...lets just say i have the art of persuasion without speaking...i can feel situations without any signs of disturbance...i can tell what kinda person im speaking with without them telling me much or anything to go on...i feel the presents of ppl or something like highlander if you know what i mean...i've had moments where i moved objects but only ones i've touched and throwed and changed the direction of it at the last moment and maybe its me on that 1 but i really believe its me...i slways felt different from everybody else...my moms said i was born with no wrinkles lol...idk if that counts for anything....i have moments where i can see things that are clearly not there & shouldnt be...i've had my tv get the snow effect and something told me to clap my hands & rub them together or visca versa and it stopped but it did it again and each time i repeated it i got the same result and the thtrird time i did it jus to see if i was trippn and it stopped again...i've hd moments where i held my hands close but not letting them touch and lil white hayes floating inbetween them at times...i've had people tell me that i was going to be somebody as a kid in school and this one particular teacher didnt say it in a way that was run of the mill but hey idk i was a kid... like 8 or 7..anyways im just here to learn or try to figure outsomething about whats going on with me and this seems like the place.... just glad to be here.... oh yeah this was a real big deal as a child... i made my aunt get a ticket taking me and my cousin to sesame place... i noticed how all the cars seemed to be passing us on the highway and im a like to go fast type and even then as a child... so i sat in the backseat saying to myself in the back of my head go faster and i guess you can say i was chanting and before you knew i looked out te window and we weredriving around nobody and she was doing over a hundred miles a hour and te police pulled us over and gave her a ticket and hse said to us idk why i was driving so fast... yesss ..scary right?.... somebody tell me what the hell is going on

Thanks for sharing your experiences Gody. Sounds to me like you have high levels of psychic potential. Have you tried your hand at remote viewing yet?

* TEN THOUSAND ROADS REMOTE VIEWING AND DOWSING PROJECT

Since its opening in 2003, the TKR Project has created and sponsored online opportunities for Remote Viewers and Dowsers. We provide free information, and community for all viewers (of all psychic methods, backgrounds, experience, and perspectives on psi), and an array of software utilities and projects offering real-time viewing within an appropriate RV protocol.

The Ten Thousand Roads (aka TKR) project is independently managed and webmastered by a diverse collection of viewers from around the "online RV field". This project owes thanks to the archives of the Firedocs Remote Viewing Collection for its primary visitor source and to the project Dojo Psi for building out its first RV software custom for TKR.

This project is founded, programmed, designed and $-sponsored by Palyne as a community service. All website names, content, graphics, and slogans are Copyright © (various dates until present) to P.J. Gaenir. Viewers and taskers always own their own content of course. Registered members are welcome to excerpt text or screenshots to communicate about the project, and we always appreciate links back to us! Try this link: http://www.dojopsi.info/forum/ for the forum, or http://www.dojopsi.com/tkr/ for the hands-on viewing area.
