After the "feeler", I have decided to try out a little contest, and it will serve as a kind of research experiment as well.

There will be eight tasks for a future date. There will be three pictures for each task, but only one is the correct target picture. There shall be only a maximum of 7 contestants. Each contestant's picture set will be different from any other contestant's. I will try to make sure that each picture from each task will be different from another, and there will be no images that are meant to be deliberately offensive, frightening, disturbing or profane.

8/8 Correct
---------------
The contestant who gets all 8 of their assigned targets correct gets $350, if there is only one such person from this contest. If however, there are two contestants who get all 8 of their targets correct, each of the two winners will receive $200. If there are three contestants who get all 8 of their 8 targets correct, the first two contestants each receive $200, and the third contestant (third based on time of submission of his/her results) will receive $150. The fourth contestant onward will receive $80.

7/8 Correct
---------------
If a contestant gets 7/8 of his/her targets correct, he/she will receive $100, if there is only one such person from this contest. If two contestants get 7/8 correct, each of these two persons receives $75. For a third contestant to get 7/8 of his/her targets correct (third based on time of submission of his/her results), the third person will receive $50. The fourth contestant onward will receive $35.

5/8 Correct, 4/8 Correct, 3/8 Correct
---------------
If a contestant gets 5/8 of his/her targets correct, he/she will receive $30.
If a contestant gets 4/8 of his/her targets correct, he/she will receive $20
If a contestant gets 3/8 of his/her targets correct, he/she will receive $15.

No prizes awarded for getting 0/8, 1/8, 2/8 of the targets correct.
Your eight viewing sessions must be completed before February 26th, 2010, and contestant answers must be submitted to me through PM on or before February 26th, 2010, 11:59 p.m. EST. The pictures sets will then be released for the contestants to judge for themselves on March 3rd, 2010. The final feedback (correct targets) will be released on March 24, 2010. Contestants must therefore view for a date on or beyond March 24, 2010. Contestants are responsible for setting up their own viewing time and session schedule.

This will be on a first come, first serve basis. First seven members to post in this thread expressing that they want to participate shall be deemed the contestants of this contest. The contestant's answers must be submitted by PM on or before February 26, 2010, 11:59 p.m. EST to be eligible for a prize. To be eligible to receive a prize, all contestants must select one image that they think is the correct target for each of the eight tasks. Contest only open to residents of Canada, the United States, or Europe (UK, Germany, etc), nothing personal, just for ease of shipping the prizes. Prizes will be mailed to the winning contestants. Contestants must agree to these terms to be eligible contestants for participation and for receiving their prizes. All prizes awarded are in USD.

Edit: To make the results more potent, there are 8 tasks, and the prizes have been increased. Contest is now open to European residents (including UK and Germany/katzenhai2), Australian residents, yet, all winners must accept the prizes as awarded. 7 Contestants is now the maximum.

Edit: Someone asked about the purpose. I want to further evidence that remote viewing works, possibly pay some bills (yes, personal gain), BUT a significant amount of the money I make will be donated to charity, and another amount may be reintegrated into the prize structure. With eight tasks, the odds of correctly guessing all eight is 1 in 6561. Adding a bit of money to it, not a lot, adds a bit of excitement to this experiment, but also compensates members for their time if they have quality sessions and good judgings (or flukes). It may also make the experiment/contest a bit more interesting and the results something to look forward to. And the prizes may be used by the winners to help further their own personal research, or to make things more comfortable for them.

All contest operator's decisions are final. The correct targets are chosen at the discretion of the contest operator.

what is the aim of the experiment;
is it:
for fun
for you to use the rv data
for proof of rv/demo

all the best...

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me.
And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing.
Only I will remain.

I may be interested, I have suddenly found a lot of free time on my hands due to an injury.

I'd like to see a sample CUE though as well as target information to see how you will be tasking and what types of targets.

I'll even do a trial session if you want to post a TRN and then provide feedback on session submission.

One of the biggest aims is to provide further evidence that remote viewing works, an associated goal is also to help pay bills (yes personal gain, but an amount will be donated to charity)
It is also simple, only eight tasks. But to get 8/8 correct by guessing alone is like 1 in 6561, close to 1 in 10000.
It would be cool, to say the least to find 8/8 targets correct.

Nice set-up!

For yourself of course. Not for science or the society.

Where do you see a problem in shipping the prize per mail worldwide? The costs are the same for you and money wrapped tighten in two sheets of paper in a letter would be no problem. I'm german and I would like to participate. Not for the money.  For the test and myself.

Suggestion: The picture should show REAL scenes. It shoud not be a computer animated or -altered picture. Also the viewer should not be required to describe what can be seen on a painting or describe superman.

I will make a note not to use computer generated or altered pictures. The contest is now open to Europe, you are included.
The prize won't be sent by regular mail, but with some form of tracking, or confirmation. I do like tracking though.
The purpose has been edited, yes it will be for science/society in a way because of data available on this open forum. However, the results won't be published in a scientific journal. There is personal gain in some way, as I need to pay some bills, but an amount will be donated to charity as well, and it won't be like $2.00, but something significant. More than one charity/charitable foundation may be involved as well. I mean this seriously, and genuinely, I do have bills to pay, but I care about the less fortunate as well.

What geographic location are you from? Please post up. I have adjusted the rules to include Europe as well.
Australia is allowed as well, but all prizes must be accepted as awarded.

If it is ARV related, means the picture which is correct will be later chosen because of the winner of a game: I'm out.
Because that doesn't work 100% of the time, most probably slightly over 50%. The reasons are difficult to explain.

Well if you are asking if the chosen picture will reflect an event that occurs, in ARV, the answer to that is yes.
Are you sure you don't want to try your hand at it?

* TEN THOUSAND ROADS REMOTE VIEWING AND DOWSING PROJECT

Since its opening in 2003, the TKR Project has created and sponsored online opportunities for Remote Viewers and Dowsers. We provide free information, and community for all viewers (of all psychic methods, backgrounds, experience, and perspectives on psi), and an array of software utilities and projects offering real-time viewing within an appropriate RV protocol.

The Ten Thousand Roads (aka TKR) project is independently managed and webmastered by a diverse collection of viewers from around the "online RV field". This project owes thanks to the archives of the Firedocs Remote Viewing Collection for its primary visitor source and to the project Dojo Psi for building out its first RV software custom for TKR.

This project is founded, programmed, designed and $-sponsored by Palyne as a community service. All website names, content, graphics, and slogans are Copyright Đ (various dates until present) to P.J. Gaenir. Viewers and taskers always own their own content of course. Registered members are welcome to excerpt text or screenshots to communicate about the project, and we always appreciate links back to us! Try this link: http://www.dojopsi.info/forum/ for the forum, or http://www.dojopsi.com/tkr/ for the hands-on viewing area.
