I was telling my better half about a little jaunt we were going to
take today and while she was in the shower, presumably with the
warm water gushing all around her she perceived details so accurate
only a bilocation could have gotten them as she correctly spelled
the name of the church on the corner.

We visited the place and as we were standing in the courtyard she
hesitated, looking straight ahead, she could see all the features
she had previously told me about from the same spot. I told her she
had accessed he future memory. The Pilgrim church was around the
corner but we saw that on the way in.

This would have qualified for a 6 of 6 outbounder.

My understanding of blind protocol is that nobody present or communicating with the viewer is aware of the target at the time of the session.

Protocol breach. Nil points. Although that doesn't mean it wasn't a premonition or had a non-physical origin.

Sorry. It might seem looney to throw away good session data, but a very few people spent an awful lot of time and energy making RV unique - and what makes it unique is, the blind protocol.

Double blind, ie preparing sets of targets in identical envelopes, then generating unique random numbers for each envelope so that NOBODY AT ALL is aware of a the true nature of a target is almost never used in applications (at least, according to Joe McM). Some might actually use it in applications, but it's the standard for research level RV to exclude possible (if improbable) telepathic protocol breach.

Incidentally, last I heard, Joe's wife does the actual tasking for him.

And no, I don't know them personally, have never met them, probably never will. But I have at least read his book, "Remote Viewing Secrets". It's not the only good book on RV - I'm quite tempted to get the David Morehouse version, but fact is, what will make me a better viewer in the long run is lots of practise with verifiable targets.

And if I'm being overly paranoid, overbearing or just plain wrong... let me know!

I suppose this thread could have been titled "PSI in the shower".  However, it was posted in in the non-RV, receptive psi area, so I assume it was known that this incident was receptive psi.

While the lack of blind protocol wouldn't cut it in a research setting, this is a nice anecdote about spontaneous psi.  I myself have had a number of premonitions during my morning showering/shaving routine.  In my case I think the mundane nature of the morning routine occupies what I refer to as the "active mind" and allows the psi information to find a way in, so to speak.

I agree the AWRV protocol doesn't hold water. Wink

Subtle distractions make for a great ambiance to do that kind of work. It is true it was self tasked and neither of us had been there.

* TEN THOUSAND ROADS REMOTE VIEWING AND DOWSING PROJECT

Since its opening in 2003, the TKR Project has created and sponsored online opportunities for Remote Viewers and Dowsers. We provide free information, and community for all viewers (of all psychic methods, backgrounds, experience, and perspectives on psi), and an array of software utilities and projects offering real-time viewing within an appropriate RV protocol.

The Ten Thousand Roads (aka TKR) project is independently managed and webmastered by a diverse collection of viewers from around the "online RV field". This project owes thanks to the archives of the Firedocs Remote Viewing Collection for its primary visitor source and to the project Dojo Psi for building out its first RV software custom for TKR.

This project is founded, programmed, designed and $-sponsored by Palyne as a community service. All website names, content, graphics, and slogans are Copyright © (various dates until present) to P.J. Gaenir. Viewers and taskers always own their own content of course. Registered members are welcome to excerpt text or screenshots to communicate about the project, and we always appreciate links back to us! Try this link: http://www.dojopsi.info/forum/ for the forum, or http://www.dojopsi.com/tkr/ for the hands-on viewing area.
