Crystal balls
Rabbit:
I'm in the market for crystal balls for scrying and I want to know what kind of crystal I should go with.... I'm thinking quartz or something associated with the third eye?

IN MY OPINION;-
Doesn't make a difference unless you think it does.
Any curved, polished, reflective surface will do. The more flaws and fogginess, the better.
Some people just use oil on water. Or tea leaves. Or the flow of traffic lights reflecting off water... oops, I just gave away a personal method. ;)
Rabbit:
mabey but I like that I can program the ball psychically. So if I'm using water to scry I should put dark food colouring in it?

The simpler the better, I once saw the landscape of another world while staring at a dew drop on a plane window at 40,000 feet.
Anything to hold the focus the flicker of a candle will do.

It's probably easier just to adjust the ambient lighting - dim but not dark.
