Apparently there's a follow up article coming in the Daily Mail on Sunday which reveals that the inscriptions actually predict the destruction of Britain due to a spaceship full of homosexual immigrants descending from the sky on 21 Dec 2012. (The same ones that killed Princess Diana, apparently.)

In my opinion, very rapid changes in DNA and ideals with a select number of peoples has already begun. Let me postulate that the 144,000 enlightened people required for the tipping point has been achieved.

Arturo Mendez, a spokesman for the institute, said the fragment of inscription had been discovered years ago and has been subject to thorough study.

So this is old news...

'Some have proposed it as another reference to 2012, but I remain rather unconvinced,' said David Stuart, a specialist in Mayan epigraphy at the University of Texas at Austin.

...and the inscription may not refer to 2012 at all...

'There's no future tense marking (unlike the Tortuguero phrase), which in my mind points more to the Comalcalco date being more historical that prophetic,' Stuart wrote.

...but may instead be some kind of past historical marker...

The institute's experts say the Mayas saw time as a series of cycles that began and ended with regularity, but with nothing apocalyptic at the end of a given cycle.

...from a culture who never predicted the apocalypse anyway.

  Steiner predicts / expects  that with the transmutation of carbon ie:- ,the Human alchemicalisation of carbon, That future generations will have bodies of such purity, akin to the plant world- that the skin will be like soft diamond and instead of the human exhalation of poisonous carbonic acid, the human outbreath will become 'beneficial' for the environment. This transmutation is being sped up by the sun, apparrently.  December 21- full moon, = solar maximum effect.

I believe it is a 'time cycle' like Reich spoke about with orgone cycles. Time has them like everything else in our reality. "When" it ends I don't know and "what" it means or will entail I don't know either. I like the idea that perhaps probabilities will... well, perhaps offer new branches or something. My inner world is freaking out leaning on me to work harder and more internally and I have no idea if it's related to this, but perhaps if this is an 'archetype' -- meaning the details of it, and 'objective' reality of it, might not matter so much as how the individual interacts with it -- well who knows.

I found the McKenna brothers' "TimeWave Zero" concept -- the computer model based on "novelty" that came to pretty much the same date -- fascinating.

I think "Novelty" is a fabulous model for this, and for looking at the 'side effect of the speed and intensity of time' (which I consider a perceptual phenomenon of our species).

I want diamond skin and better breath. Who knew that December 2012 was about that too??

As an aside, although I am not really on the same page with Steiner about -- er, most things, and I assume you're referring to Rudolph -- I did actually enjoy some of his books and had one book on this one page that totally 'sparked me' with insights (much like the occasionally section of the Torah has done) and I kept reading it over and over I found that so fascinating. (No idea which now.) I considered that particular page a lovely 'in the spirit' page. So he's got some good stuff.

Yep Rudolph Steiner,

I suppose he does have some good stuff, the Steiner Schools are good. The transmutation of carbon stuff was a topic at the New York 2011 World Goodwill seminar, "Transmutation of carbon and Spiritual Dynamism" . Also to look forward to, but maybe not this december, apparently "The human species will ultimately become hermaphrodite and, transcending the process of sexual reproduction, will build their physical vehicles through an act of will-they will be bodies of transfigured carbon etc. and that is what the big deal is about, the carbon isotope changes. from 12 to 7 which is claimed to be able to carry/amplify hyperdimensional fields.
