My four year old was occupied watching her Andy Pandy video so I grabbed the opportunity to do a session.  Cheesy

Optimistic I hear you say.

It was a little optimistic but hey you gotta grab the chance while it's there.

I was half way into it when she noticed I had my eyes closed. I heard her drag her little stool over next to me and bless her heart she started stroking my hair and gently patting my back so I could "sleep better".

At that moment I recalled a few words of wisdom from our RV experts.

"Learn to RV under all conditions".

ahh hah ha ha  hahahah !

Yeh right! Like we're all hooked on neutral grey walls and a monitor.  Grin  Ah aha hahahah

I just did a session and tried to include all my senses rather than just my 'sight'.

As I wrote down what I was hearing, tasting etc I had to resort to fuller descriptions.

For example: I could hear a crackle/popping noise. I described it as sounding like a bowl of rice puff cereal in milk.

This got me wondering if any AOL's are our minds trying to describe something other than what the target 'looks' like.

Some AOL's might be pictures that are an attemp at describing a sound or taste or feel of the target.

I  have on occasion done a session while watching TV.  I'd do the session during commercials and slow parts.   THose few sessions all turned out as good as any other sessions and I don't see a big prob doing it that way for the rv methods that are somewhat close to waking state.  But for the ERV type stuff, I'd say at least you end up with practice getting to your altered state, if nothing else, LOL!

River, I've found that often my AOLs in an RV session are trying to get through any given thing, not just visual stuff.  It can be material composition or concept or a relationship as well as the more obvious stuff.

I dunno how you RV with a four year old.  Then again you have a mate, that helps!  My kid turns 7 next month and I am just FINALLY, for the first time since she was born, actually expecting to be able to create a schedule for more regular RV.

My favorite practice session--one of the greatest ROTE sessions I've had--happened while I was parked in my truck behind a big building where she was having a music lesson, and somebody a couple stories up had the window open and was practicing TUBA, of all things! I was really laughing to myself, that if I could do a good session while ignoring really bad tuba, I was all set.  Cheesy

I tend to agree with you, the data you look for may be presented to you in a symbolic form.  For example, I did a double-blind session once where we tried to locate a pilot who was downed over Iraq, and I probed for the name of the street where I saw him being held, and I saw...an Orange...Huh

Where I grew up in Sweden, we didn't have a very great assortment of fresh fruit in the winter, and the only brand that came to mind was one particular brand of oranges called 'Jaffa' (pronounced "yaffa").  So I dutifully put down the name Jaffa, not knowing if it made sense or not (I have never been to Baghdad...)

Later on, after I got feedback, I got curious and started looking at maps of Baghdad to see if anything matched...and lo and behold there, smack in the middle of the city is a street named 'Yafa Street'

I sure hope they looked for him there...

Hi Jim

well done on the Yafa Street. I sometimes think RV is like playing charades.

........"sounds like.........Huh"  LOL

Sometimes we understand what our subs are trying to convey and sometimes we don't.  :-/

* TEN THOUSAND ROADS REMOTE VIEWING AND DOWSING PROJECT

Since its opening in 2003, the TKR Project has created and sponsored online opportunities for Remote Viewers and Dowsers. We provide free information, and community for all viewers (of all psychic methods, backgrounds, experience, and perspectives on psi), and an array of software utilities and projects offering real-time viewing within an appropriate RV protocol.

The Ten Thousand Roads (aka TKR) project is independently managed and webmastered by a diverse collection of viewers from around the "online RV field". This project owes thanks to the archives of the Firedocs Remote Viewing Collection for its primary visitor source and to the project Dojo Psi for building out its first RV software custom for TKR.

This project is founded, programmed, designed and $-sponsored by Palyne as a community service. All website names, content, graphics, and slogans are Copyright © (various dates until present) to P.J. Gaenir. Viewers and taskers always own their own content of course. Registered members are welcome to excerpt text or screenshots to communicate about the project, and we always appreciate links back to us! Try this link: http://www.dojopsi.info/forum/ for the forum, or http://www.dojopsi.com/tkr/ for the hands-on viewing area.
