Subject: Draming Numbers and Song............. Docrose_??
Hello all,
While reading the recent posts on dreaming limericks and song,
it reminded me of some dreams I have had in the past. I have a bad
habit of not writing things down, so unfortunately these dreams are
left to my memory of them. Occasionally when something really
impresses me, I now scurry off to my computer to document it so I
will have it for later referral.
Well, one dream I had was numbers. I dreamt that I won the
lottery and in my dream it told me my numbers. I was so excited that
I awoke with a vivid recall of the numbers. All except the last one
;-? ). Well, since we only need six numbers, I figured that's not too
bad. First of all I must say, I don't bet and I don't buy lottery
tickets. So, I thought it quite strange for me to have this dream.
But, I figured hey, it must mean something so on my way home from
work the next day I stopped at the local supermarket to buy the
lottery tickets. Mainly because I figured, why would I of all people
have this dream. It must mean something. I don't even know how many
numbers there are in the lottery. So I just told the girl I wanted
the five numbers I selected with everything else that was left over.
I can't remember now how much it was but something like $48 or there
about. Well, I didn't win. I got a few with three numbers but that
was it. So, I continued to wonder why in heavens name I would have a
dream like that. I don't give two hoots about the lottery. I figure
the only way to make money is the old fashion way, work for it. This
dream still baffles me, as I believe that all dreams mean something,
but maybe not.
One time I had a dream about a song too. I have no idea now
what that song was or what it was about but it was really nice. I
only remembered it momentarily and then for get it. Some times while
driving to work, I make up songs. Most of the time they are pretty
good too. I think, Arlene, you have to remember this one. So, I sing
it and think, no way will I forget it, but low and behold, I do ;-? ).
I have even thought about keeping a recorder in the car with me to
record these thoughts.
BTW, I love all the limericks. You don't hear people do them
much anymore. My dad always did them and I love them, they sure can
make you laugh. I have a pretty good book of them too. Anyway, they
really brought back some memories, as my dad just died in March and
he loved doing them.
;-? )
