Hi,

Having sent one haiku as a reply to an email(at the risk of incurring the recent
rash of email debacles), I am going to try to resend that haiku I wrote a few
minutes ago as well as another I just wrote. The first concerned a premonition I
had in college of a friend's impending auto accident. The second relates to a
cartoon memory of a character striking out into the world with just a piece of
material holding a few belongings tied to a tattered stick. If I consider my
life to be a quest for meaning which I have found in many unexpected ways my
intuition has engendered, I am still the eternal optimist setting out to meet
the world with my heart on a virtual stick.

First haiku

"Youthful Premonition"

Dream skid marks friend warned.

Life saved spring's glow face I loved.

Days, nights, second sight.

Second haiku

"Life, My Tattered Stick"

Life, my tattered stick

Island dreams love in bloom seeds

Whispered love blown, drowned.
