Hi PJ and everyone,
Today's (Saturday May 17, 2003) Los Angeles Times front page,
Column One: "A New Slice on Physics -- Is the world we see trapped on a
thin membrane separating us from vast other realms? Some scientists say that
would explain a lot."
http://www.latimes.com
(You have to register to read the story, but registration is
free) Very interesting writeup. Story should be archived after
Saturday.

I am new to the RV groups and have no background information on a lot
of the more famous RV people. What is the deal with Morehouse? I
understand the problem with Ed Dames and running off without honoring
his obligations as Psi Tech.
From what I have read and understand, Morehouse did more than RV. He
was more an OBE person while what I understand on RV is that it is
not OBE, but bi-location and downloading of information from a great
source of history of events, as a great library.
Is it that some people do both and lump it all together under RV?
Thanks,
Christina

Hi Christiana,
Morehouse did both regular RV and whats called ERV ,
which is done in a trance. At times , unfortunately
rarely, the viewer can bilocate with both
methods..although ERV has it more often. But the
teachers don't like to call it astral traveling. They
prefer the Matrix model..or the inwards looking
Socratic model really. Nevertheless , there is nothing
I've seen that rules out that RV is not some kind of
very sublte astral travel. Or that perahps even far
out OBE's are not "inward journeys". I've given up on
this point..G

Hi Linda,
I've been following the "MemBrane" dimensional theory
of the universe. Quite an interesting turn. And wanted
to read it..but registering and then getting a
password in the email..went thru a whole page of
logging in and then never did get sent to the story..G

Hi Bill --
The LA Times article on Brane Theory was only on the front page of
http://www.latimes.com, on Saturday, May 17, 2003.
So I went and checked. It's now archived -- but, though
registration is free, they DO charge for archived articles. I didn't know
this on Saturday, since I myself had just registered. So I did the next
best thing:
I did a google search on and found several sites
(cached pages):
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&ie=ISO-8859-1&q=physics+brane+theory&btnG\
=Google+Search
One of the easier cached pages to understand, re brane theory, in lay terms
(which *I* definitely need! :), I found:
Nature (magazine) issue 411 June 28, 2001
http://216.239.51.100/search?q=cache:ndVxYfGdkN8C:www.nature.com/cgi-taf/DynaPag\
e.taf%3Ffile%3D/nature/journal/v411/n6841/full/411986a0_r.html+physics+brane+the\
ory&hl=en&ie=UTF-8
Also, a cached page at about.com in their physics section (very basic, but
nothing can be too basic for me ;): Quantum Gravity, Strings and M-branes
http://216.239.57.100/search?q=cache:4H45Es40T2wJ:physics.miningco.com/cs/string\
theory/+physics+brane+theory&hl=en&ie=UTF-8
And all these are free, with NO registering required.
