The public archives are now up to date as of this morning.

Y'all wouldn't believe what a tedious and time consuming pain in the
butt it is to archive a list, but given the comments I've gotten via
email about the VWR list since I began archiving that back in 1997 --
and even through years I was totally out of the loop but left it
online -- I've come to believe that for everything we do or say about
remote viewing today, there are people who come into it after we do,
who benefit from having it around.

There is never any lack of media, ranging from insane to insipid,
about remote viewing; there is usually some lack of grounded
discussion between reasonably rational intelligent adults, and so
what little exists in that category is very much appreciated by some -
  and those are usually the folks worth supporting.

I love the little archive utility, it's nifty for members to be able
to look up their name, see a list of everything they've posted (sort
by thread or date), and to read/navigate in a variety of ways.  It is
not necessarily that we are experts, but we are thoughtful, and I
think people who come in the future might appreciate 'lurking' in a
conversation long past but about something they themselves are
interested in.

Besides, we MAY be experts someday and then won't our development
curve be worth exploring for those hoping to follow that trail. ;-)

I just want to say that in seeing nearly four months of this stuff go
past me the last several days doing the work, I'm reminded again how
fortunate I am to have such cool people here.  Scott, Don, Eva,
David, Glyn, Liz, Rich, Terri, Sharon, Nita, Bill, Merrywell, Dawna,
Karl, and I'm sure several I'm forgetting (sorry) (and several people
with the same names in the above list), I feel very lucky to be here,
and I have to say that in the last couple months the focus of the
list has dramatically reoriented closer toward what I had in mind,
and I really love it.

I'd normally do it in Jan but I'll be busy so list housekeeping will
come in February -- anybody who hasn't posted something in 8 weeks as
of whenever we get to the date I run it, will be unsubscribed.... in
my continuing effort to keep the list relatively small, to make
members known to each other, and to move the "read-only" population
to the public archives instead, so that a more intimate environment
of people who share can be promoted inside the private list.

Hi PJ,

I agree that RV Oasis has been really great lately. It's just like sitting your
living room having a chat over coffee.

I even dreamt about it the other night. All of us who post were sitting having a
chat in someone's living room. I saw us all as intellectuals. LOL

I got into my Volkswagen (which I don't really have) which was in the middle of
the room. Then I had to try and get back out of the car carrying small balls
like marbles, on a flat board, one handed, without dropping any. ha ha ha. Sure
sounds like RVing to me!

   Absolutely!    Guess what I'm reading......The new Anne Rice vampire novel
"Blood and Gold". IMO her Vampire Chronicles rank up there with the best. My
other favourites are the 'Star Wars' series and films (and some books).
'Star Trek' of course....the original too with James T Kirk. Real
brain-food. I cut my teeth on 'Dracula' when I was 12 years old (excuse the
bad pun :-).

   At this moment I'm watching 'The Science of Christmas' on telly. Really
educational stuff. Did you know that Santa goes into a 'relativity cloud' to
deliver his presents......so what is a second to us is months to him, so he
has ages to deliver his presents? Simple see. Yes, and Rudolph's red nose
was due to unexpected sunshine; sunburn of course.

   Oooh and you cook turkey by it's weight in ounces times its radius (you
have to squash it into a sphere first of course),  to the power of 2/3 in
minutes.

   Yup, you can count me in  intellectual discussions. ;-)'.
