Hi PJ,

      If this was a communication from the unconscious,(sign) perhaps it
was for your daughter(and for you to witness). She was the one who found
it and it may be a way to let you know that she may start to have
strange experiences (such as the big blue tower in your post Re:Object
Consciousness). When I read the post about the tower I thought "well
here is her third sign". But since it was such a long time between the
experiences, it  most likely was not..  If you had a strong feeling that
you were going to have three signs, it may have come when you were just
having a bad day and did not recognize it.

I like to believe there is. I would hate to wait for weeks and months
waiting for a sign and then not recalling what its about. :-)  When I
get something that I percieve as a sign, I try to recall what my thought
train was at the instant that I recieve the sign and see if anything
clicks. If I am doing something or about to do something and I think
that I just recieved a sign, I try to become more aware of what is going
on around me.

It's possible you got the message,made the changes and did not require
the third sign.

I certainly don't know where signs come from, nor do I know if this
is related in any way to your signs, but I thought I'd pass it along.
I recall John Edward (TV psychic) saying that he had an agreement
with his mother to give him--I believe three--signs after she crossed
over. The first two he received relatively quickly. The third sign
came nine years later. So apparently even if you know you're going to
get them, a timely delivery is not much of a consideration.

Moderator's note: Really!  Thanks a lot for that Rich.  It has really baffled me
how I got two and then never a third.  I guess I "AOL'd" (lol) that if the
second came a couple weeks after the first, that the third 'had to be' in that
timeframe.  Had to be, sheesh - lately I've been 'stopping my thoughts' and
asking myself to retrace how I got to where I ended up in process (often through
a series of daydreams and images and associations).  It is always amazing when I
do that... I keep noticing how many things about reality I think 'have to be'
that way, for no particular reason at all.... PJ

Signs i remember
Monday, August 05, 2002

I had dreams that were very vivid and weird in the content of the dream, like
I got on to an invisible motor scooter that had the noise of one but you
couldn't see it.  And it drove me up the narrow jutting ledge sticking out of
the side of a steep ridged fluted mountain. Like the mountains on Oahu Hawaii
but the top was flat.   And at the end of the trail close to the top of the
mountain was a cave and hanging over the opening was large green banana
leaves as a curtain&  A few days later a friend wanted to show me a haiau,
that is in the middle of the pineapple field the area had a few trees and
some rocks, one with the same fluted sides as in my dream to the main rock,
but it was like looking at a miniature of that mountain.  On the top of the
rock someone was carved the same name as mine&

A few weeks later I had a second time, with the same combination again.
First the dream of driving down a long steep hill and driving over the edge
at the end of the road&  And then a few days later I got lost with directions
to a meeting and I was going down this steep hill and I slowed down making
sure my brakes worked& but I was already having this Oh-no feeling and a
recall of the dream&  At the end of the road at the bottom of the hill the
road Td across and you need to turn right or left. If I didn't stop and turn
I / the road goes over the cliff there&  I had stopped at the intersection
and looked up at the street name and part of the name was again mine&
My feelings at first was to look for the third sign and see if I could
triangulate a point on the map of maybe someplace that it might lead me too
who knows what!

I thought that was adventurous and as tumultuous as you can get and I was
anxious for the third sign&

But I also knew that all this was also giving me a more knowing of all things
connected.

I could have said coincidence but I knew it was too much proof to dismiss it
as coincidence.

At the same time I totally enjoyed these tumultuous experiences.  A whole lot
more meaning then I can put into words&

OK, what would you call it all&?

OK, signs happen, and they are very interesting.  But, what's with the three
thing?  Palyne looks for a third sign,,,,,Pane looks for a third
sign,,,,,John Edwards looks for three signs from his passed mother.  Is there
something about three?

When Palyne mentioned her dead crow and a third sign,,,,,,I thought about
Bible scriptures and how Jesus told Peter when the cock CROWs he would have
betrayed THREE times.  It was just a thought.

I wonder, , , is there a difference between a symbol and a sign?   I wonder,
just how much information can be "packed" into a symbol or a sign,,,just how
much efficiency in knowing can be accomplished with a representation?  I
wonder, is a sign really a sign if there is no decipher / interpretation?

One thing,,,,I don't think precognitive images are signs.

The trouble with signs is,,,,,we see what we are looking for.  And that BTW,
is why RV is done blind.

NLT, signs are most real.

What would I call it?  I would call it meaningfull.

Hey you guys, in doing the archiving for this group, I remembered
something that I had totally forgotten about, and didn't mention.

In my post talking about "the signs" I got 2 out of 3 of and wondered
what it was about and where the last one was, I said,

[[ But my aunt and I were talking one day... I had this tiger-striped
grey cat. And she says, "I had this really weird dream last night. I
dreamed that there were two cats, and one was just like your cat
there, except blood red instead of grey. And it ATE the other cat,
and there was this red striped tabby cat with the tip of the tail of
another cat sticking out of its mouth!"  I looked at her oddly,
because I had the PROFOUND feeling, while she said that, "This is the
second sign of the three." ]]

I forgot to mention.  That when she said this, and the "knowing" part
about it being a "sign" came, I had this really heavy "overlay" on a
biblical thing.  When Joseph (of the coat of many colors) was told
the Pharoah's dream, the dream had these 7 fat cows, and then there
were these 7 skinny cows, and the skinny cows came and ate the 7 fat
cows (there was more), and he interpreted the dream to mean, that
there would be 7 years of plenty, and then 7 years of famine.  Well
when I got that, I actually flashed hard on this biblical reference,
of one creature eating another of its kind, and I thought to myself
that the "red cat" might represent blood consuming peace -- a sort of
war thing perhaps.

I wrote this off right afterward, as I do most things that pass
through my mind briefly (I'm working on that...).  But I was suddenly
reminded of this, when I archived that post, and had made a note to
myself to mention this probably relevant aspect of it on the list.

With heavy heart I will tell the list that war definitely seems to be coming.
I think anyone can foresee this without psychic skill , , , or without my
special perspective from inside the U.S. Army.  I have been privy to
classified briefings and many Intel ops briefings and wish I could share, but
no.

This weekend I wrote a letter to my congressional representatives.  I did
this not thinking it would change things (not too optimistic about it), but
as the father of a 19 year old son, as an American, and with an almost 20
year career dedicated to the defense of our country, , , I had to go on
record before it starts.

This time will be different,,,,,it won't be good,,,IMO.

I am sorry Palyne if this post response wasn't so much RV related.  I suspect
signs must be interpreted to even be sings.  I am not interpreting your sign
however.  You may be your own best hope for that.  If you feel it is a sign
though, regardless of not for sure knowing what it means, I am with you,,,,it
is a sign.
