Staff Bio - PJI had self-willed lucid dreams, out of body experiences and precognitive dreams regularly throughout my life... I thought that was normal for everybody. At 15, a spontaneous memory of an experience from age 8 (a 'close up' UFO sighting) triggered something in me, and while my overdeveloped critical mind maintained a stoic denial of anything "illogical" being "real," I obsessively read on psi, psychology, comparative religion and hypnosis for years, especially any scientific aspect. I was 'searching' for something that would 'make it all make sense'. As a young adult I pursued hypnosis very seriously for many years; I completed studies at The Hypnosis Institute in Southern California around 1990, and did personal study under Dr. Richard Johnson at the Behavior Science and Research Institute (also in CA) in Biogram Theory and Therapy (which combines biofeedback, hypnosis, and psychotherapy in a clinical setting) in 1991-2. I should note that I consider most educational value in any arena worth discussing to be self-education first, 'schooling' second. An unusual experience led to my beginning personal study with a 'hands-on energy healer' around 1992. I was skeptical yet interested; I was the worst student imaginable. I loved the healing work, though it took awhile to not feel like I was 'imagining things' any more. The meditation work I was in denial about, and in the early days, I spent a lot of time instantly unconscious instead! Eventually I 'broke through' to myself, and in the process ended up with a minor kundalini awakening which led to a couple years of the most bizarre, reality and time shifting experiences imaginable. I put them in a case study online in 1996, made for a therapist friend, titled Bewilderness. I explored Ceremonial Magick as well as the 'energy' work for some time. On Halloween 1995 I was talking with a buddy about PK, and I said, "If you could bend a fork tine, you could stop a man's heart. This has serious military and ethical implications." And he said, "Speaking of the military! I was just at this private conference and I met a man who had been a psychic, called a Remote Viewer, for the US military for years!" He said he thought if I gave his name as a reference the fellow might talk to me. So I sent an email and was introduced to Leonard 'Lyn' Buchanan, who trains in a method called CRV. For six months we had daily email back and forth with all my questions; in April 1996 I spent five days 'training' with him at his home in Maryland (he taught one-on-one then). Over time I met several other members of the former 'Star Gate' RV Unit, both public and private, including Paul Smith, and became involved in attempting to document what I learned about RV on the internet, and to create tools and groups for other Viewers (practice, discussion, etc.). I was gifted with some training from a couple other former intell people (more CRV, at various levels, some basics on ERV, and then [somewhat after the fact] two intermediate CRVs with Buchanan). As a result of my internet work always including students from any method, I got to know several graduate students of other trainers, and so was able to get informal training in other 'methods' of RV as well. For about a year and a half I ran a tightly moderated online discussion list for RV/CRV that included half a dozen former 'StarGate' program members (archived on Firedocs) and a substantial website for RV. But working a full time+ job, plus having a full time+ business of my own on the side, plus having a small child, leaves little extra time for RV! My online work seemed like it had served its purpose in early 1998, so on July 4 of that year I put the old CRV manual online as a gift for the field (who wouldn't have to pay for training to see it anymore) and 'retired' from 'online RV', and focused on my "other" life of job, family, etc. When my daughter was older, I returned to the online field four years later. To find someone to talk with, I opened a discussion group on Yahoo, but could not seem to keep it small enough or experientially focused enough to be useful in my view. (RV Oasis/pjrv is archived at the Dojo Psi Info site.) In late '02 I began planning a big project (Dojo Psi) which would be a private club focusing on intense viewing and practical RV-applications. Alas, there was nothing available for laymen in the field, nothing open to everybody and free, and it didn't feel right to build a private club with that situation in place. So I shelved that and built a project called TKR instead, which could be that free, friendly community and practice area for viewers of any stripe. A bunch of viewers who were neat people thought it was a cool idea and joined the effort as staff, and more joined the project as participant members we call 'locals', and so grew TKR. As Remote Viewing online is a very niche topic, TKR has been geared to use the accumulating discussions and session work as a valuable archive. At this point the project is by far the largest (and the only non-partisan in terms of method etc.) Remote Viewing effort online. Everyone is welcome. In 2007 I will finally begin building the real Dojo Psi, but I remain dedicated to the good of TKR. Last updated: 26 November 2007

The Ten Thousand Roads (aka TKR) project was founded, is programmed and designed, sponsored and paid for by Palyne PJ Gaenir (see 'about the Founder') as a community service for the Remote Viewing field. It is managed by a diverse collection of viewers from around the 'online RV field' (see 'Project Info'). All the website names, content, graphics, and slogans are Copyright © (various dates until present) to Palyne Gaenir. For more info about TKR beyond this website, visit the RVwebForum and ask questions, or contact Palyne. This project owes thanks to the Firedocs Remote Viewing Collection for its primary visitor source, to viewer Joseph McMoneagle for setting such a darn good example for all viewers and dowsers, and to the private project Dojo Psi for building out its first RV software custom just for TKR's public project. |
