Membership Agreement
TKR's Area at the Dojo Psi
- The term "Gallery" or "Galleries" in the following agreement is inclusive of all Ten Thousand Roads ("TKR") project software, including what is formally titled 'Galleries', as well as the 'Resource Center' and other misc. software and features as may be added to the TKR project over time as resources allow.
- I understand Gallery Members have the right to privacy and may use names that are not their own. I understand that while I maintain the right to cloak my identity, "identity impersonation" of another individual is not allowed.
- I understand that all images, sessions, targets, taskings and other content in TKR are copyrighted to their creators, and all collections/presentations are copyrighted to the TKR owner, and none of these materials can be redistributed without written permission from the copyright holder(s). (Copyright permissions do exist for contributing viewers of course--please review each Gallery's info page.)
- I promise I will not willingly attempt to defraud the Galleries double-blind systems or harm the software, and that I will not share my login information with any other individual and am responsible for interaction with the system which occurs through my login.
- I understand that if I contribute sessions or data to the TKR Galleries for TKR practice or project taskings, that I am giving TKR copyright permission to publish these sessions or data in whatever form the TKR project owner may be using now or in the future, with the caveat that my information (such as anonymity) may only display in accordance with my session settings and such restrictions shall never be ignored.
- I understand that a contributed session can be edited, previewed and deleted by me prior to feedback, but that a session cannot be altered or removed after tasking feedback. I understand that even after feedback however, I can "mercy kill" any session to make its settings default to "anonymous" rather than bearing my name or alias.
- I promise I will not willingly insult, harm, incite, divide, or otherwise do damage to the social community of viewers in the TKR Galleries through ongoing antagonistic and/or deliberately anti-social behavior. I understand that constructive critique and even fierce and emotional debate are central to many communication forums, but I do promise to behave like a reasonable, mature adult within that understanding, or risk censuring or exclusion from the project.
- I understand that TKR is a Remote Viewing web project made available free to the public through the good intentions of the owner, programmers and staff. I understand that all people are welcome to participate, but that violating TKR policies in any area of TKR may result in my person and computer IP being prohibited from project access for a set or indefinite period of time. I understand such decisions are never made by one person but are voted on by the TKR Wizop Council prior to decision, and that I may appeal and present my case to the council in such an event.
- Concerning "targets and tasks" for psychics and viewers, the Galleries begin a viewer with four (4) "basic level" categories for targets when they register. The viewer can add/remove categories as they choose through their personal settings page. Please be aware that SOME 'basic' targets may be of events or things that have some drama or emotion in them. Most are not 'overly' traumatic by the tasker's estimation, but every individual may feel differently about such things. Information is perceived uniquely to each viewer and we cannot control or predict how any human will respond to any given target. If you are not open to a variety of targets and experiences, and/or if you feel you may be emotionally or otherwise harmed by such experiences, and/or if you are not at least 18 years of age, please use your own targets and taskings, and leave the TKR Galleries tasking options for others. You know yourself better than we know you: you are responsible for yourself, and any use of TKR's tools and taskings is done at your own discretion and your own risk. Please be responsible. Thanks.
