Changing something in the past and will it affect the future or not?

What do you think about changing something in the past and it'll affect the future?
Some people told me there's a theory which is about if we can change something in the past, it won't affaect the future but it'll create another world or new timeline.
Some people told me if we change something in the past it'll affect everything in the future and that timeline will be broken.
What do you think about this?

The point is how do you change something in the past?
Can you elaborate? I only know that time is not linear.

With RV you "change" the past with every session - but your future actions are already included into your past experiences. I've observed it several times. From my experience there are no "timelines". Only one objective reality. But I'm not so sure about the concept of multiple universes - not talking about existing ones but the metapher (the concept) to understand the phenomenon of time.

Multiple time lines multiple universes individualized by the frequency of the beholder. How often have you heard someone say you need to raise your frequency, what sense would it make if you stayed in the same timeline or even same universe of the frequency or density?

You change your frequency you change your timeline (past, present and future).

I don't know what "frequency" means. How that can be controlled etc. So I don't know what people are talking about when saying "frequency" or what that metapher means in terms of perception of the reality.

I've never really been able to figure that one out either. From what what I have read if you become more loving it "raises your frequency".

Elsewhere in this forum I've written about an experiment done by the Hawaii Remote Viewers Guild (HRVG). The task was to go to a photography session in I think it was 1875. A man named Matthew Brady was having his daguerreotype photo taken. The viewer was to leave a coded message on the photographic plate. HRVG claimed it was a successful experiment and the coded message did appear in copies of the photo they examined after the session. Myself, I could not find the message and asked on this forum for help finding the message. Anyhow, if HRVG happens to be right, that means the past can be changed and the changes can be witnessed. What we wouldn't yet know, and maybe more experiments could be done, is whether we the changes are retroactive to the first date, in this case a day in 1875, or if the changes only show up when the contemporary remote viewer has completed the retrocausal task. I'd sure like to be part of more retrocausality experiments.

I used to go to one moment in time in my childhood. Persistently every day. I would go and tell my little "me" looking in the mirror, "Love yourself when there's no one else." Months later, I remembered a presence in my childhood, an older woman coming into the hall and telling me to love myself. I had forgotten about my experiment, but when it all rushed back, paradoxically, I now remember both as valid, and I can pinpoint the times this somehow saved my life several times when I was a teenager.

I suppose it has to be sincere and come from your inner truth and sense of universal justice and purity, a form of purity is just love without the noise and the taint of everything else it is attached to.

Black-sabbath, thanks for sharing that. I apologize if I am stating something everyone knows, but there was a guy back in the day named Neville Goddard, and he preached that you could, thought use of your wonderful Human Imagination, go back in time and edit events positively or negatively. And the changes from the past would then be resounding in your present.

Regarding the original post in this thread, one of the big dogs in RV once discussed this at some event I attended, they said that when you view the future, you are viewing the future of right now. If you then go make a change in the present, so that what you viewed will not happen, you have changed the future, cuz every future is the future of right now. So to me that says, every future is the future of every decision/moment/present event. But there is only one future really, but that is the future of right now.
