I thought I'd make a thread for occasional posts with music refs.

This guy Sungha Jung (South Korea) is one of my favorite guitarists. He's been playing (ridiculously well) since he was so young (small kid!). He does original music now, though he has a ton of lovely covers on youtube. Some of my favorite originals:

Flaming (very upbeat)

Gravity

Hot Chocolate

And one of the sweet easy listening covers, Marx's Right Here Waiting

He covers everything and everyone, from Metallica to Michael Jackson to Classical, just by-ear versions he comes up with generally. Many of the youtube vids have him as a little kid. He has the Pirates of the Caribbean song (he's SO adorable at any age but especially this one):

He also has that (and Mission: Impossible and other fun stuff) on ukelele.

I loved this song so much in the mid-80s and I just found it on youtube. It's not a radio song, it's from a guy in my hometown (Ojai CA), Raj Rathore.
