I've both ARV'd and tasked ARV sessions. I used the simplest shapes (gestalts) and colors that came to mind. With damned interesting results the viewers were told there may not be good feedback and used colors and shapes that would represent the actual answer. The results were beyond good but the answers chosen by the viewers went against their world view to the point the information they provided massively upset them. In one session I tasked a really really good viewer known here with a task with each possible answer I drew a shape of zigzag which would represent stairs that I thought Hitler may have used to escape and the other picture I don't remember, possibly the infinity symbol indicating life death and rebirth. Both would be shown to the viewer at the end of the session so they could verify for themselves which more closely resembled the true outcome. I told the viewer just to draw a two dimensional diagram. But instead the viewer drew a flight of steps and responded by please tell me what I've done, I'm stumped as to what it was.
I wasn't shocked, I knew how good this viewer is. That was quite a few years ago.
ARV is fun but it is not tasked the same, there should always two outcomes provided with the relationships to the diagrams explained. This can be done with every sense the viewer is capable of recognizing. BTW - Nothing in the world tastes worse than old green house pain to me. Damn..
So many memories..
