Reality glitches

I have been reading some of these stories. Some are pretty neat. Has anyone had any thing similar happen?

I can't find the story I was looking at last night that I thought was really neat. It was wriiten by a guy who said he met a couple of friends at a bar and when they walked out he was in front of them. He saw a flash of white light then the next thing he was conscious of was walking on an unfamiliar street. He said he walked for about 2 hours then finally found a street he knew but it was in a town about a 15 minute drive from where he started out. He happened to have a close friend in that town so he walked to his house where there was nobody home so he went inside and fell asleep. The next day he called the friends who were at the bar with him. They were very relieved and said they were walking behind him and he just faded away. They went to his house and waited to see if he was there and there was no one there. I think the story was at Above Top Secret.

OK, here is a quick one I heard second hand from a friend of mine who had experienced it in his youth. Many of us have lived through things against inexplicable odds, this is one of those stories.

He and a friend were hot rodding down a country lane slinging dirt everywhere. He said it was one of those things, he was out of control and going way too fast at some point loosing his natural sense of fear. However just as he crested a hill and went around a bend he happened upon a cattle crossing. With no hope of stopping or evading the accident he just put his arms up and screamed while waiting for the sudden and final impact. Within a moment the car kind of shuddered with dust flying everywhere he said he and his friend had arrived safety on the other side of crossing, a total and complete impossibility since there was no break in the cattle crossing the road and no place at all to circumnavigate the situation.

Things like this do happen, I've experienced them myself.
