I have been asked to advertise this project in the hope that volunteers come forward. Other than that I know nothing about the project, and am in no way linked to it (so no questions please lol). The original text is listed below:

Would you like to participate as a Remote Viewer in a scientific
investigation?

We have set up a study of viruses (microscopic targets). There are
50 Target numbers assigned to tomato plants in two groups. If you
choose to participate in this test, you will be remote viewing the target
numbers assigned to two groups of plants to determine which target
numbers are assigned to plants that are infected with a plant virus and
which are not. The experiment has a due date or dead line of June 30,
2009 when all the remote viewing data is due. You will need to be already
trained and familiar with Stage 1 (S1) remote viewing protocols and
identifying the Gestalt.. We will not provide training.

If you wish to be involved in this scientific investigation we will provide
you with the 50 target numbers and the Binary Protocol to be followed
in S1.

This is a good opportunity for you to exercise and test your remote viewing
skills if you are a new remote viewer and if you are an experienced
seasoned professional it is a good opportunity for you to employ your skills.

If you wish to participate in this scientific investigation please contact
me electronically by e-mail at the following address and I will provide you
with the details.

The project is called:
The use of Controlled Remote Viewing to conduct Scientific Investigation

Boulder, Colorado and we are conducting this scientific test with our membership.
We invite you to participate.

Two things:
1. I'm not familiar/trained with Stage-1 so I can't participate.
2. Stage-1 is a part of CRV so this can't test my overall remote viewing skills.

I'm not sure this will lead to anything except to test if Stage-1 information is the most correct one of a complete RV Session.
Why restrict the method if your intention is to see if a virus could be RVed? Suspicious. :-\
