Hi Glyn
My family always knows when they are going to die. I talked to a family
member and they always have a dream where they open a door and a deceased
family member is there who talks to them. One Aunt and my Mother are the
only ones left alive and they heard the comments at everyones funeral.
My Uncle Chub took a loan out on his house, ran up his credit cards and
left just enough money for the price of the funeral and $14.00 gas money for
my cousin Marge because he didn't like her. He gave the rest of the money to
his friends and people he knew were having problems. One woman he gave the
money to fix her roof etc. He then died when the payments came due. My
cousin Marge tried to get it back and it didn't work. She was livid and I
swear I saw my Uncle in the pews looking at her and laughing.
I guess the warnings do work sometimes.

Hi Glyn,
I haven't heard of the knockings you mentioned. But I did have an odd
experience also. A long time ago, while I was sleeping, I was awakened with
3 very strong energy bursts to my chest. Kind of the same feeling you get
when you watch a parade and the loud drum section goes by, but magnify it a
lot. I had never experienced anything like that before and they actually
made me sit up. About 3 days later, someone very dear to me died, this
person wasn't sick and it was a complete shock to everyone. I have often
wondered if it was some kind of warning, that maybe I could have done
something. But what can you do, tell everyone you love to get a check up
right away?

Yes, it's as worrying as hell.
Besides the knocks, over the years I have had some strange experiences, and
other sorts of warnings of death, but I've never known exactly who. Twenty
years ago I had a really good friend. We hadn't known each other all that
long, but were beginning to become 'soul-mates' in that we had the same
sense of humour, likes and dislikes, and were both so interested in 'psi'
that we would talk about it for absolutely hours on end.. We had both been
lousy at math in school so we started to go to evening classes together to
try and pass the exam... but we used to call in the pub on the way home,
talk about 'psi', get plastered......and forget everything we learned; we
never would have passed that exam. :-? )? ). We laughed such a lot, and she was
so full of fun and wisdom; maybe an 'old soul' as they say.
One night I was lying in bed and it must have been the 'wee small hours'
when I had an absolutely horrible feeling in my head. I felt scared. I
remember thinking I was having a stroke, I had never felt anything like that
before. It was so stron, so weird, so frightening, that I thought I was
going to die and I was about to wake my husband...and then it just went
away. The following day, my wonderful friend and her husband were out in
their car when she suddenly turned to him and complained of a bad
headache..then just collapsed and died of a stroke. Too much of a
coincidence..
No Linda, don't beat yourself up about it, you couldn't have done anything,
any more than I could.
Life is just a pig sometimes isn't it?

Hi Glyn,
Good post. I found it very interesting and I have heard the expression,
"death knocking at your door", but never really knew what it was about.
I think this is the type of posts that PJ was talking about, not only
the experiential rv posts, but any type of post that we may learn
something about the workings of the mind.
I like the group we have here and do not want to see it removed because
of a lack of focus and participation. I have had a few experiences and
will soon post them.

It may not be entirely useless, as it may depend on the individuals
psychology. Some people may benefit (themselves? ) by being able to
'prepare' emotionally to the forthcoming death, even though they do not
know who is going to die. And who knows, with the proper intent, focus,
prayer, etc. maybe that future timeline can be altered.

Hi buddy,
Thought I'd try to get at least a little post in before I have to
crash tonight. Think I'm coming down with something. Three hours at
a really bad circus today didn't help. Poor animals. Usually it's
so small it's not great but it's okay, but today was pretty bad.
Rykah liked it, what does she know.
I kinda wished the tigers would eat the trainer. That would have been
a much more interesting show and I disliked his energy as much as
they did, don't know why.
> Ken wrote:

LOL! Come to think of it I guess Glyn has a pretty literal version
of that! That is funny, that correlation...
> It may not be entirely useless, as it may depend on
It occurred to me when reading this, a funny line from a cartoon
movie Ry likes, "You know it doesn't always have to be about you!"
I used to wonder why I'd get visions or planetary doom, or XYZ entity
with apparently some need to talk to a part of myself I could 'feel'
him conversing with but couldn't hear damn it -- that happens to me
in RV, too, I ask for info and I can sort of hear/feel that the info
is THERE, entire paragraphs of it, I just can't quite access it. I
know it's a state of mind thing, someday I hope I can get some really
great eeg equipment and maybe 'find' 'where' it is -- wait, off
topic, now where was I. Oh yeah, I would wonder why I got this or
that experience or piece of info, and then reading this, it suddenly
occurred to me --
-- maybe there is no 'why'. I mean, maybe some things aren't "about"
me. It isn't that some cosmic design granted it to me and I'm here
wondering if it's a blessing or a curse or what it all means and why
I was 'told' or whatever. But maybe it's nothing more than being
capable of perceiving certain information. Like, if you are standing
on the street corner when the screech of brakes begins, you are going
to notice something unusual several seconds prior to the big crash.
That doesn't necessarily mean the universe was granting us the sound
or "telling us" -- it just means we happened to be capable of hearing
it. Maybe a lot of psi is just that.
Maybe the knocking Glyn hears is the moment when the soul of that
person makes the decision to move along. That's an interesting
thought to me; what energetic repercussions does such a thing
(deciding to die, on some level? ) bring on. Like maybe the gream
reaper isn't coming to get us; our soul is coming. knock knock.
I hear a lot of stuff that has no particular meaning attached to it.
I hear bumps and doors close and even really loud things which don't
come from 'this' reality but I've had this so long that I've learned
to just ignore them. I sometimes get sound SO loud that it startles
me and even makes me yelp, and then I might realize about 30 seconds
later that I went right back to what I was doing instantly without
another thought about it -- some part of me knew that it wasn't
from "here" so didn't matter, and is used to shining it on.

Hi PJ,
Tigers! Ah ha! I knew tigers would show up somewhere! Just ignore me, I get
excited about little things sometimes. It was on 'Farview', Rich's session
he posted here..where I thought it may be tigers. Future Mem at work eh?
LOL!!

Who knows? That is as good an explanation as any PJ. It happens about 3-4
weeks before the death of the person concerned, and I am wondering why that
time-lag. Why not a week, or even the night before for goodness sake?
There has to be something that occurs at about that time to spark off the
knocks. If it was just clairvoyance/precog then *why* all about the same
time difference. Very odd, must be a reason..too much of a coincidence.

LOL! Wonderful! That's a definite advantage to knowing you were about to
'go' I guess. :-? )
I'm not sure I would like to know when I was about to 'pop off', and if it
ever comes down to just being my sister and me, maybe the one who heard the
'knocks' just wouldn't say.........don't think I could tell her if I heard
them; no point really.
How do you feel about one day maybe having such a dream?

Hello Glyn
It doesn't scare me because through personal experience I have my beliefs
about what happens after a person dies. I believe in reincarnation and I
have seen some of my past lives. I know that even if I leave this lifetime I
will still have a indestructible part of me that exists. I would like to
know in advance in one way where I could set everything up properly for my
loved ones and be sure they are taken care of in that aspect. It is what I
enjoyed about what my Uncle Chub did because he took care of the people that
he cared for except for my cousin Marge.

Hi.
I think a lot of times we are just picking up on random energy that's usually
beyond our perception. Sometimes that means it doesn't have anything more to
do with us than an overhearing a conversation between strangers. But what
Glyn described didn't sound like that.
I believe often we pick up on these things because their is a definite change
of energy - energetic repercussions, PJ called them - going on nearby.
Something is happening. Many synchronicities might be another form of picking
up on changes in energy, as well.
But that sure doesn't rule out purposeful communication in this phenomena
either. What I wonder is if the knockings, being associated with a following
death, are caused by the person who dies or by some other entity. Or is it a
sign of part of whatever lives on after death, maybe the soul, starting to
shut down, preparing for the coming transformation. And Glyn can perceive
this process.

Every once in a while (probably two/four years apart? ) usually at bedtime,
I "hear" a loud noise that I identify as a gunshot. It always startles the
heck out of me.
It never sounds exactly real compared to any shooting I have done or been
around
but I sometimes think that is what it would sound like if the gun was aimed
AT me. :? )

Hi Rich,
Well if you ruled out a real gunshot... this is a
classic OBE occurance.
BTW.. the pounding on the chest sounds like energy
hitting the heart chackra..or the heart chackra itself
expanding.

Hi Glyn
I have heard that the angel that is supposed to guide you shows up around
then. I have seen them around people most of the time they look like a white
pillar of light and then you can see the features and tell it is a angel. It
might explain the 3-4 week time.

I've heard those explosions/gunshots, too. And they really startle me. I hate

Never had an OBE. Closest thing is occasional "flyinf" dreams where I seem
to be half awake. But I can't "go" anywhere I want. I just expend a lot
of effort staying up in the air. sometimes during this experience I remember
having done it before.
