OK you guys, we had eight long-suffering judges besides myself who
ranked 1-10 all the haiku entered (over 100) and the top 25 have been
placed in the POLLS section of the yahoo pjrv group to be voted on by
you the members. (Nobody voted on their own of course. "Special
notice" given by any judge to a haiku, aside from points,
added 'weight' to the final ranking.)
Please READ ALL THE HAIKU ON THE POLLS MAIN PAGE, then vote for your
1st, 2nd, and 3rd place favorites. Technically you can vote more
than one into those places -- but too much of that and we'll end up
with half a dozen and need to re-poll for a final winner, so try to
limit voting to your top three.
Remember, the only rule for 'best' is what you think best represents
any aspect of remote viewing as a practice, experience, field,
subject, etc. Humor, seriousness, poetic flow, all of those are
equal 'officially' -- choose what YOU like best.
Polls close Sunday 12/15/02.

Apologies 1: Yahoo polls wouldn't let me make this display properly.
Blank lines, html, nothing worked. Each haiku is one line or wrapped.
So I had to use slashes / between / the lines.
Apologies 2: I made the polls in the order based on the rank of the
haiku from the judges, so they would display in that sequence. Then
the polls page decided to display them in the order it pleased. So,
the order they are seen in, has no significance.
Have at it!
P.S. Many of these -- including many not on the polls list -- were
GREAT!

PJ, should we ignore the "honorable mention" buttons? If we do
use them, should we vote for only one "honorable mention"? Or
can we vote for more than one?
Btw, thanks for all the work you've put into this. It's been
fun!
Karl

Moderator's note: I'd just vote on your three favorites, but you can also choose
a couple honorable mentions too. Actually the 22 that aren't placed will
already be H.M's, but mentioning your 'runners up' could help in case our
place-winner counts are tied, that could help break a tie. PJ
