Subject: Research results? kboyken
I'm slated to give another talk about RV, and I remember that at the last one,
there were questions about research results. So, what has RV research shown?
Here's the sketchy list I've put together:
Whatever mechanism transfers information in RV, it's not electromagnetic.
Physical shielding has no effect on RV.
RV performance is affected by local sidereal time, solar wind, and the
geomagnetic field.
Everyone has some degree of ability to RV.
Anything wrong with any of these? Anything to add? Thanks!
Karl
Rich comments:
Over at Freevent, Paul Smith mentioned that there is research available.
Give him a PEM. Maybe he can give some specifics.

It doesn't fit into the Standard Model of particle physics for that
matter. Also, it enter into electormagnetics at some point, since the
brain's neurons _known_ functionsing operates on electromagnetics. It is
not known at what point electromagnetics enter into the picture, because
so little is known about the mechanism.

(1) Solar wind and geomagnetic field, etc. (which you mention below),
could be considered a type of shielding. If somebody powerful wants to
stop most or all RV on the planet, they could just mess-up certain such
global effects. Whether or not this can be used to implement local
shielding is unclear.
(2) Allegedly there are some anomolous 'shielded'
events in the future. See the archives

"During the session, I ran into a personality that stopped my like a rock
and put me back where I started from, effortlessly and with a smile. But,
wasn't going to let me get by. So, I asked around and even asked Dames
about it. He indicated that he has been able to look beyond those dates.
He acknowledged that he did find some event around that date that he had
not yet indetified, but could get around it and could look beyond that
date."
So it sounds like certain 'entities' may be capable of shielding.
Whether or not you consider (1) or (2) to be 'physical' is a matter of
opinion or definition.

That's what I've been told. I don't know how rigorously that's been proven
though. I don't know whether that pertains to RV specifically or
whether it just affects human behavior universally and is more noticable
with RV because it is an undeclared inclemency.

No problem there. Individual results may vary. ;)

Don't forget that there are aliens under Mount Baldi. OK, sorry, I
just HAD to say it!!
I'm trying to think of other things that have been bandied about. I
seem to recall there being something about diff rvers reaching misc
diff states of nonwaking state brain waves during the act of rving
indicating that brain wave states while viewing vary but are not the
same as normal waking state. If you could actually state the source
research of these conclusions, that would probably be the most cool.
Also, I think if you search, you may find a number of professional
studies on remote healing that have yielded statistically significant
results. It seems to be a rather hot area, maybe because it appeals
to a lot of highly religious folk too.
