Hello all,
Well, the results were not stunning, but they were quite intriguing nonetheless,
and food for thought.. If you remember, Liz sent me a session and then I was to
try and get her to have picked up some impressions from the cover picture of
Focus magazine, which was due to be published mid January 2004.
At the bottom of this mail is Liz's mail of the 20th December which contains her
session.
Because I was not feeling that bright (flu..excuses excuses), I messed up Liz's
feedback a bit, but not a lot of harm was done, it appears, as the result was
that she just ended up seeing a small picture of a man that was on the cover,
but who was not part of the main image that I intended to send on its own. You
will have to look in the PJRV photo album for the feedback as unfortunately
Yahoo strips images from these mails. The main picture on the front consists of
a graphic artists imaginary rendition of sun-flares, using fractal images. It
does not appear that the retro-tasking worked, as there was no clear evidence of
that graphic or the man, and it appears Liz definitely hit her intended target
with a resounding bang. :-).
However, what is intriguing is that inside the magazine there is an article
advertising a DVD set about Australia.....and at the top is a picture of Ayres
rock. LOL!!
Could so called retro-tasking be used to help a viewer focus rather than have
the opposite affect? Food for thought indeed...
Cheers for now. I will put up Liz's feedback now...plus the pic of Ayres rock.
Kind regards,
Glyn (and Liz of course...without whom I couldn't do this and would not be
having so much fun or learning so much :-))

Hi Glyn,
This session was done on the 15th September 2002. The target was Ayres Rock

As you probably know, Ayres Rock is one of our major tourist spots and is in the

Hi Glyn,
Could you tell me what your intent was. Did you have any clear thoughts at the
time that showing me might effect my session? Ya got me curious now. LOL
If I remember right, I think the original feedback picture didn't show any
greenery and my session said NO greenery. But in your RT feedback there was.
This leads me to think I went to the Rock at the time of year that the original
photo showed. But I don't have the original photo to check.
Some others did that session as well. It was tasked online by Pru. Dave
Humphries might remember. Dave?
cheers Liz

Hi Glyn,
I think it is fairly clear that this session was free of any Retro Tasking
mainly because while I was doing the session I felt as if I was on site. I felt
as if I got caught up in a whirl wind of dust and lost sight of the rock for
most of the session.

I have my doubts that seeing the picture of Ayres Rock in the magazine article
would have any effect on my session because there was no intent for that to
happen. I think seeing the picture would be no different to seeing it any other
time after doing the session. IMHO
But it is fascinating that it was included in the magazine. It's one of those
interesting coincidences. I have no idea what it means though. LOL
And thanks so much Glyn for doing these experiments. It has been lots of fun and
very interesting and I'm thrilled that you asked me to be involved.
Are you going to so a summery?
cheers Liz

Hi Liz,
Thanks for that.

Yes, I think it probably was just a coincidence that the pic appeared there Liz,
but because I deliberately included it with your feedback mail, intent was
there. Whether it had an affect is not obvious; more experiments are needed
along those lines.
> Are you going to so a summery?
Yes,I will definitely go through and do a write up of each of the experiments
and any thoughts we had about them so that others can comment too, and I want to
do that asap. I am a bit behind I am afraid...what with Christmas, the flu, and
spending too much time reading and chatting on the groups. But I have done some
RV too :-).
Cheers for now,
Kind regards,
Glyn
BTW...The 'Part 1' in the title was a mistake, there is no Part 2 :-)

Hi Dawna,
Thanks, we've enjoyed it. I know they are only 'casual' experiments intended for
us really, and there is absolutely no validation from anyone elses point of
view, but we hope people have found them of interest. I will be posting up a
summary when I can get to it.
Meanwhile we are already going ahead with some more experiments (not RT), so we
will probably be eventually posting something up on those as well.
Grins from
Glyn

Thanks Dawna,
It was interesting and fun and I'm very glad Glyn had the grand idea to do some
experimenting. I'm sure everyone would have jumped at the chance to give her a
hand so I'm touched that I got to get in first to play around with all this.
Now if anyone else wants to be Glyn's helper they are going to have to fight me
for the position. LOL
cheers Liz
