I was just browsing, and I found this. Very interesting, especially the bit about Joe McMoneagle and NLP at the bottom of the page. Any of you know anymore about it? http://www.fortunecity.co.uk/roswell/le/19/paranormal.html Regards, Glyn pjrv : Messages : 736-736 of 4038

But I think that there is a different awareness awareness behind that process. Free will may be just an illusion but I can't buy into the theory that mind = brain = awareness. I think that awareness uses mind which uses brain. I see it as the brain being a organic computer and the mind as a keyboard. Our awareness at some level keys in whatever it wants to experience. I think that we use our mind so much that we think that we are our minds, when in reality, we are awareness, using mind and brain to experience whatever we wish in "this" reality....but then, what do I know :-) Best Regards, Ken > Glyn wrote: > he thinks free will is an illusion brought > about by religious teaching, and that consciousness is only a result > of > activity in brain memory areas (biochemical) and has absolutely > nothing to > do with either religion or quantum-physics; just the biology of our > central > nervous system . > OK, we may only be organic machines.. but to see it spelled out in > words > like that is a bit depressing.....;-)
