I'm in the process of conducting some ARV experiments and had this
amusing occurrance yesterday. Before last week's trial I made some
updates to my software that included rearranging the scoring summaries
to allow for an arbitrary number of ARV choices. For binary decisions
the True and False columns got reversed.
The sessions came in and got scored. I looked at the scoring
summaries, took the appropriate action, and sent a predictive email
out to the participant viewers. The event occurred as predicted and I
went back into the software to generate the feedback photos. I then
noticed that I had misinterpretted the scoring summaries, forgetting
about the swapping of the True and False columns. I had acted in the
opposite manner of what I should, but unknowingly. Nonetheless, it
still worked and I fed back the images based on what my actions had been.
So either I got very lucky (given that there was a clear consensus on
the outcome) or some aspect of ourselves is smarter than my conscious
mind and able to correct for such blunders. I prefer to believe the
latter.

Hi Scott,
I'll believe the latter. Since everything else in ARV
is precog..why not that you switched target
definintions. It's totally plausible. BTW do you mind
sharing your % correct you get with your ARV group.
I'll spill if you do.
Best regards,
Bill

Hi Bill,
The number of trials is still too small to draw any solid conclusions
from, but thus far we're 7 out of 8 correct with 3 passes. Pass/no
pass criteria have been adjusted along the way.

Hi Scott,
That's a good start. I'll have to do some calculating
on mine now. I've made numerous changes in formats
over the last 2 years. BTW I asked Rob Abbott about my
idea that ARV loops get corrupted by negative thought
forms that one produces from time to time. He thought
it was more likely just the concious mind trying to
wrest control from the subconcious/RV mind over a
period of time. I'm still think somekind of
subconcious imprinting or pollution occurs with time
in a particular method . And that a new method
bypasses the pollution for awhile. Even if it is not
actual thought forms..
Best Regards,
Bill

Aloha Behfar,
hummm...now let me see...I believe that that... would like make
you...oh...
I don't know...could it be like...wrong?...Do you have an example?...
No...I have never tried to do it on purpose...it happens enough all by
itself...haha...I have to pracitice some more... before I am ready to
deliberately pick the 'wrong' one...I am still working on getting the
'correct' one...

I second that. However, what would happen if you deliberately chose the "wrong"
target as feedback? Has anyone done such an experiment?

Moderator's note: Boy! That's pushing the concept of the tasker intention
'leading' a project to the limit... I wonder if the
result would depend on what the tasker (deep in his heart...)
wanted the outcome to be. And if it would matter if the tasker and
feedback person were different and the tasker didn't even know? PJ
