That sounds experiential enough to post. I have to do ERV while sitting in my office chair (not reclined) or I fall asleep. There are some sessions where I'm nodding off - sometimes when I snap back, I'll even have data. Scott -------------------- Moderator's note: now ya see, I've made some people nervous about what is 'experiential enough' for the list... sorry. Anyway, in response, up until many years ago, I could never sleep sitting up. Ever. I never feared driving while tired, for that reason. Now, I could sleep STANDING I think, in the middle of a highway if necessary. In fact I'm amazed at my ability to sleep anywhere at all if I happen to feel like it. So it's a lot more difficult for me now, to do ERV-type sessions without snoring; "holding the focus" is more difficult for me than it used to be, but perhaps a lot of this is just lack of practice for a long time. Funny note: The Freeflow Focus 12 hemi-sync CD from TMI has a "beacon guidepost" sort of lighthouse type sound on it, that is supposed to bring you back to paying attention to what the hell you are supposed to be doing. It usually works nicely for me when used with a meditation or session. Except the other day, I worked the beacon guidepost RIGHT into my dream. She was a beautiful woman. lol! :-) -- PJ
