I'm getting ready to upload a lot of practice targets to a project
I'm working on. (When it goes live, I will finally have a personal
life again--a little, anyway!--which could include my own email list
finally.) As soon as it opens I will post here; I really think any
serious viewer will be delighted about it.
The project has both practice and special/direct taskings. As an
advanced feature, I'd like to make it so viewers could select the
kind of targets they'd like to have (or NOT like to have).
This is a bit complex since the categorization has to be specific
enough to be workable, but not too detailed to be bureaucratic. But
having it would enable me to make tasking options wider and more
advanced, as I would not be forced to exclude taskings/targets that
might not be appropriate for beginners (or others for other reasons,
e.g. some people don't want people in focus, others don't want death,
others don't want violence, others don't want non-feedback stuff,
etc).
I've had several people help me with the idea of classifying
targets. (This goes not just for practice but for any kind of
targets.) We aren't trying to break down every possible thing or of
course, the options would be infinite. We were however trying to
come up with a decent list, with sub-options, that would encompass
the *primary* focus-elements of most any tasking. (Not every detail
of what's in a photo or target; just the primary focii that is
technically the tasking focus.)

I would like it if anybody interested would look at that outline, and
tell me if you think there is something that is missing from there or
should be done differently. This is such a pain in the butt that I
do not intend to do it twice; however I set it up, that's the way it
is going to be, lol. So I want it to be decent to begin. :-)
